(Hastings, NE) Tractor Tuesday is excited to announce that Texas Tech University basketball player Bailey Maupin has signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal to become a brand ambassador. Tractor Tuesday is an online auction platform for producers, empowering equipment owners with the tools to successfully represent and sell their own equipment. This collaboration is a great fit, bringing together an incredible student-athlete with a company dedicated to supporting athletes from agricultural backgrounds.

In high school, Bailey led her basketball team to two Texas state championships, including a perfect 33-0 season, and was also a state champion high jumper and accomplished tennis player. In college, she became a starter her freshman year, started every game her sophomore year, and racked up a long list of accomplishments and accolades along the way, including Texas’s Association of Basketball Coaches 2A Player of the Year, Dave Campbellโ€™s Miss Texas Basketball Player Of the Year, Academic All-Big 12 Team twice, and much more. Last season, her per game average was 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists, and she impressively scored over 20 points and four 3-pointers four times. She is now heading into her junior year as a Lady Raider, where we can expect big things from her.

Bailey grew up on a farm that has been with her family for over one hundred years. She said, “We run lots of cattle as well as grow just about everything you can think of. Our main crops are corn, cotton, wheat, milo, and occasionally soybeans.” She learned valuable lessons about family and hard work while growing up. “I think the most important lesson I learned was that nothing will ever be handed to you; you have to go out and work hard for what you want and never give up,” Bailey related.

Bailey is excited about being a Farm Athlete and representing Tractor Tuesday in various marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives. She said, “I am so proud of the way I grew up, and I canโ€™t wait to be partnered with a company and brand that feels the same way. Tractor Tuesday is doing something very special,ย and I am so grateful ย to be a part of it!”

“We’re very pleased to have signed Bailey as part of our team,” said Zach Bosle, CEO of Tractor Tuesday. “She’s an incredible athlete, and I truly think she has the potential to be the next Caitlin Clark. We’re lucky to have her as our brand’s representative and an agriculture advocate.”

This NIL deal underscores Tractor Tuesdayโ€™s commitment to creating opportunities for college athletes from farm and ranch backgrounds, helping them succeed in their athletic careers while staying connected to their roots.
