(Hastings, NE) Tractor Tuesday is excited to announce that Purdue University wrestler Stoney Buell has signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal to become a brand ambassador. Tractor Tuesday is an online auction platform for producers, empowering equipment owners with the tools to successfully represent and sell their own equipment. This collaboration is a great fit, bringing together an incredible student-athlete with a company dedicated to supporting athletes from agricultural backgrounds.

Stoney was a Four-time Michigan D3 State Champion in high school while wrestling for Dundee High School. Impressively, he posted a flawless 31-0 record as a senior at 189 pounds. At Purdue University, he had a winning record for his sophomore outing, becoming a Big Ten place winner and NCAA qualifier. We are looking forward to seeing his performance in his junior outing as a Boilermaker.

Stoney grew up on a dairy heifer farm, where they had mainly Jerseys and Holsteins, although he says brown Swiss are his favorite. “Growing up on a farm has helped me so much with discipline and hard work making sports that much easier,” he said, adding, “I also just loved the amount of people I met while showing, who now support me in a different way with athletics.” Stoney also appreciates athletes who stay true to their agricultural roots. “Seeing people like Brock Purdy, who goes back to the farm to harvest during his bye week, is awesome to me.” Stoney envisions himself back on the farm one day, saying, “I truly believe when the time and money are right, Iโ€™ll have a couple head of cattle on a small farm.”

Stoney is excited to be a brand ambassador for Tractor Tuesday, representing the company in various marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives. He said, “I would love to be an even bigger role model to kids that come from farms and are afraid to take the step and leave the small town to chase their dreams, and help them know that they can be very accepted and also awarded for it.”

“We’re very pleased to have Stoney on the team,” said Zach Bosle, CEO of Tractor Tuesday. “Stoney is a very strong wrestler, and he stays true to his agricultural roots, which makes him a great representative for Farm Athletes and our company.”

This NIL deal underscores Tractor Tuesdayโ€™s commitment to creating opportunities for college athletes from farm and ranch backgrounds, helping them succeed in their athletic careers while staying connected to their roots.
