(Hastings, NE) Tractor Tuesday is excited to announce that University of Nebraska basketball player Allison Weidner has signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal to become a brand ambassador. Tractor Tuesday is an online auction platform for producers, empowering equipment owners with the tools to successfully represent and sell their own equipment. This collaboration is a great fit, bringing together an incredible student-athlete with a company dedicated to supporting athletes from agricultural backgrounds.

Allison got off to a great start with Nebraska, becoming one of the starting five her freshman year and putting up impressive numbers through her sophomore season. However, she was then sidelined by a series of serious setbacks. First, Allison injured her left leg against Kansas in 2021, which ended her season, and then after many months of rehab, she injured her right leg in the preseason for 2023-24, which took her out for yet another season.ย While all this was happening, Allison never lost focus on her academics, being named Academic All-Big Ten in 2023 and 2024. Allison looks to make a significant impact on the Huskers basketball team moving forward as she gets her basketball journey back on track.

Growing up on a family farm in northeast Nebraska provided Allison with the work ethic to persevere. “I appreciate the many life lessons I was able to learn from my parents and two older brothers. I learned to be hardworking and give 110% effort in everything I do. I learned that you get what you work for, not what you wish for, and I feel that reflects in how I practice and play.” Allison also values the agricultural community, saying “I appreciate the community that surrounds farming and the support they have always shown towards me and my family within my athletic career.”

Allison is excited to be a brand ambassador for Tractor Tuesday, representing the company in various marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives. โ€œI am super excited to be recognized as a Farm Athlete because there arenโ€™t many farm athletes out there and I think joining the Tractor Tuesday family is going to be a great way to highlight our unique lifestyles as farmers and as college athletes.โ€

“I’m thrilled Allison Weidner has joined the Tractor Tuesday family,” said Zach Bosle, CEO of Tractor Tuesday. “It is great to see a homegrown Nebraska farm athlete playing for the Huskers. I am confident Allison will inspire many young athletes from rural backgrounds.”

This NIL deal underscores Tractor Tuesdayโ€™s commitment to creating opportunities for college athletes from farm and ranch backgrounds, helping them succeed in their athletic careers while staying connected to their roots.
